Genuine Feather Quill Calligraphy Pen, fitted with a brass nib attachment with Fleur de Lys design. Packaged in a gorgeous gift set with hand ground Italian apothecary ink jar and 3 additional nibs. Great quality at a terrific price. A feather pen is a most elegant way to pen a letter or experiment with the art of calligraphy.

  • Pen is made of a natural turkey feather
  • Pen is approximately 7" in length with lovely Fleur De Lys detail
  • Packaged in a lovely hardcover gift box
  • Set includes 1 Apothecary bottle of ink  and 3 extra nibs

    • Feather Pens can be used with any fine writing ink, or calligraphy ink. Just dip your pen's tip into the ink so that the entire tip is covered, then begin to write evenly and gracefully. Experiment with the pressure and angle you use to vary your line width and shape. It is not necessary to press hard with dip pens, a little bit will go a long way. When you need more ink, just dip again. When done, just wipe your tip on a paper towel or soft cloth.

    I really love my quill pen and it writes nicely and I am going to enjoy writing with it more than a regular pen, but I see that I am going to have to order more ink in more colors,
