Uncomfortable to hold April 3, 2013

visually this is exacly what I expected, however I have slightly larger than average hands and I find the pen section of the quill too small to hold comfortably. I am forced to choke up on the quill and I have damaged the lower part of the feather in doing so. If the pen part of the quill were 2" longer it would accommodate all hand sizes.

Have not had the opportunity to use refills, but I'm sure they will do splendidly. Shorter than I thought they'd be, but if they fit and they work, I'll be a very happy customer :)

I usually make sure to order refills and send them with a gift plus keep some handy at my home for myself or if someone needs them - the pens would not make sense without continued refills; another reason to feel comfortable sending a feather/quill ball point as a unique gift/rememberance - it should be available to use so send along a few refills.
