I own five of these pens and they are great! I love the metal nib - not too fine, not too broad - and the variety of colours! They work great for writing and look excellent in the narrow vase I keep them in.

My first experience ordering feather quill, but this is great. My daughter loved it. She'll have to learn to dip and write w/o dripping and splashing, tho.

Beautifull, I dipped the pen and found it very smooth,
the amazing thing was it held enough ink to write
9 lines, I hae never used a dip nib that would hold any
where near that. I am really pleased with the pen.

I must say that the Nostalgic Impressions customer service is top notch! They were able to correct a problem that I made when placing my order quickly (order placed after hours, problem fixed next morning) and with no problems at all.Order arrived on time and in perfect condition.

The ballpoint pheasant quill pens (gifts for my nephews) were beautiful and wrote like a dream.
