The stamp makes a very clean and crisp impression. I like how the center is raised high enough off the impression to make a :"peak" in the center...like a 3D compass rose. My only complaint is that the handle on the seal is not lined up with the base. So, if you make an impression holding the handle between your fingers thinking you will get north pointing to the top, you will get a rotated impression with north pointing toward the northwest. You have to guess how much to rotate the stamp and hope you get north pointing to the top of the envelope, if that is the kind of impression you want. It is a look some people might like, but to me, it gives the impression you made a mistake making the impression - pun intended...hehe

This stamp was used as a seal for destination wedding invitations, as the compass fit the bride and groom's "travel" theme. The stamp made a sharp and clear impression in the wax. Even the small individual N, S, E and W compass direction letters imprinted perfectly every time.

Buy a new glue gun!!!	June 10, 2012

As mentioned previously, any glue left in your gun gets stuck in the nooks and crannies of the seal. It took us considerable effort to remove the glue before being able to make the seals. Otherwise the quality of the stamp is extremely high was detailed, intricate lettering.

The wax seal stamp compass did not produce a distinct compass picture. The size of the compass was
much smaller and flatter than I anticipated and the design was not as deep or clear as I imagined. Perhaps,
I did not read the description carefully enough.
On the other hand, the processing, delivery, and packing of all items was quite impressive!
I wonder if the ship (my second choice) would make
a clearer picture - or if it would turn out the same as
the compass . . . not pleased with the compass that
I wanted to use for a pirate theme.
