This traditional letter sealing wax was originally used to seal legal papers and documents by goverments and banks of all sorts and is still made by our Scottish sealing wax factory in the old methods and recipes of yesteryear . Each stick of wickless wax is 8" long and 3/8" thick and is mainly intended for breaking up and melting down (hence, no wicks!) in a melting pot or even an old heavy saucepan. It is used for higher volume projects in making a lot of impressions, but where you still want the fabulous glossy appearance that only real sealing wax can make. Available in 9 of our most popular colors.
